Happy Thursday! The Bills are 7-2 and we’ve had some remarkably warm weather in Western New York so the babes are happy.
Let’s get into it…
Tucked away in a plaza in North Tonawanda sits a brewery. If you’re not paying attention, you might miss it. But if you walk in and see the hops lights, you’ve found Woodcock Brothers Brewing… and you’re in for a treat.
Liz and I took seats at the bar and started with flights. These flights of 6 are an amazing deal since you get to try half the beers on the menu! (Play your cards right and you could try a sip of them all.) Naturally, we both ordered as many IPAS and were introduced to an NEIPA or a New England IPA. Can someone tell us more about this? Standouts for us included the Double IPA, the Woodcock IPA and Mutty Puttles.
Food did not disappoint either. We started out with some portobello fries which were delicious. Liz got a meatloaf sandwich which was AMAZING.
Atmosphere and service was also great. Our server/bartender was very friendly and willingly answered all our great questions about beer, food and the Bills. (His favorite player is Josh Allen. His favorite former player was Fitzmagic.)
Although there are so many breweries on our list, I think we’d return to Woodcock sooner than later.
Please note: The North Tonawanda location is a tap room and not a flagship location. Liz and I plan on adding the Wilson location to our list.
