Sundays are for the Bills… and a brewery?!
For the Bills-Jets game, we headed over to Belt Line Brewery in Buffalo to watch what we hoped was an easy W. The beer was flowing and numbed any impending doom of a loss to the jets, which thankfully was not a reality.
Belt Line is cool! It’s located in a part of Buffalo I wasn’t super familiar with but seemed rustic and industrial. We were able to park close and our reserved table was in the middle of the brewery so we had access to various game screens. Although the brewery itself was small, it was cute and quaint and had great energy. I personally liked the Allen-Diggs 2020 signs that were posted throughout. Has anyone been in the summer? I bet the atmosphere is great then. We’ll have to go back. Even our buds of the blog enjoyed it!
Yup, you read it: buds! This week there were multiple buds including Robin, Lee and Anna aka Liz’s mom, brother, and his girlfriend. We were so excited to show them where we’ve been running around and get their opinions.
We took advantage of game day specials including discounted food and drinks. We ordered shareable items like wings, nachos, and fries. The wings and fries were SO good. Way better than we expected. (One of the buds ordered a burger that unfortunately was a little overcooked.) We all enjoyed the variety of the draft list too. Belt Line had something for anyone including porters, IPAs, pilsners, sours, and more. Our favorites included the Double Jusey Fruited Sour and the First Loop and Junk Drawer IPAs.
It was a great day drinking beer, hanging with family and watching the Bills win!
