Location: Rochester, NY
Welcome to Rochester’s first craft brewery: Rohrbach’s.
I found that out when reading more about this brewery. I also learned it’s named after a small town named Rorhbach, Germany. Wow, a brewery named after a German town. Who would have thought…? (Who thinks the Babes should go to Germany?!)
For this post, we are focusing on the Railroad Street location instead of Buffalo Rd. (Which Liz and I have both been to.) I thought Railroad Street was the flagship but research has shown me that it actually originated on Gregory Street.
It was a chilly night in November that brought us to the Rohrbach Brewery Tasting Room. But the vibe inside was anything but cold. Liz and I grabbed some flights. Would you believe you if I told you our favorites were the Railroad IPA and the Space Kitty Double IPA? Definitely would drink again.
I want to take a minute to share how fantastic our waitress was. We chatted with her for a while and she listened to us share about the blog. She also gave us some other brewery recommendations and told us about a brew fest that happens in Rochester over the summer. It really makes all the difference when you have friendly waitstaff.
Our evening out was quick and great! Rohrbach’s brewery has it all. Good beer, good service, good food, good atmosphere. We definitely recommend!
