Resurgence Brewing Company

Location: Buffalo, NY For the Bills-Seahawks game, the babes decided to take on another brewery. (Let’s be honest, we weren’t expecting the Bills to do THAT well but were of course pleasantly surprised.) We headed downtown and headed up doing a double header at both Resurgence Brewing Company locations. When a brewery has multiple locations,Continue reading “Resurgence Brewing Company”

Belt Line Brewery

Location: Buffalo, NY Sundays are for the Bills… and a brewery?!  For the Bills-Jets game, we headed over to Belt Line Brewery in Buffalo to watch what we hoped was an easy W. The beer was flowing and numbed any impending doom of a loss to the jets, which thankfully was not a reality. BeltContinue reading “Belt Line Brewery”

Five Sons Winery and RG Brewery

Location: Brockport, NY Overall Rating: 7.8/10. This was my first time here, but Liz and Tiff have been before. Like Silver Lake, it is the epitome of a small town brewery. It’s quaint, homey and cute. The beers were good, the food was great and overall it was an awesome Thursday night spent with friends.Continue reading “Five Sons Winery and RG Brewery”

Steelbound Brewery and Distillery

Location: Ellicottville, NY Overall Rating: 7.16/10. A true Buffalo number. This is a sweet spot and a must if you’re visiting Ellicottville. (We recommend the Sky High Coaster at Holiday Valley.) We also welcome our second bud of the blog, Sarah!! Sarah is Liz’s older sister and sometimes mistaken as her twin! (She also thoughtContinue reading “Steelbound Brewery and Distillery”

Silver Lake Brewing Project

Location: Perry, NY. Overall Rating: 8/10. If this isn’t at the top of your list, I’d move it up. Brews: 5/5. Liz and I both got flights. We liked them all. Standouts included the Session IPA and the Strongarm Belgian Golden Ale. Bills: 0/5. Honestly, not mad about it. I’m not sure it would haveContinue reading “Silver Lake Brewing Project”

Pearl Street Brewery

Location: Buffalo, NY Overall Rating: 6.5/10.  Brews: 2/5. None of us were impressed by the brews we selected. Liz and I both got IPAs and Tiff got a cherry wheat beer which she disliked.  Bills: 2/5. I’m not even commenting on this anymore. Food: 3.4/5. The food category was a little divisive among the babes.Continue reading “Pearl Street Brewery”
